About The Position
Morgan Properties is looking for an Assistant Service Manager for the Ashton Glen community, a 568-unit apartment complex in Charlotte, NC. The role involves helping the Service Manager maintain the community's safety and upkeep according to company standards by leading the team in diagnosis, repairs, and make-ready processes.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of related experience or training, or a one-year certificate from a technical school or college.
- Valid driver's license.
- Your own tools for on-site repairs.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC/EPA/CFC and/or CPO certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliance, and exterior issues.
- Build daily make-ready and work order schedules with the Service Manager and Property Manager.
- Complete service requests within 24 hours and inspect finished work against Morgan standards.
- Help manage maintenance inventory and look for cost-effective ways to order supplies.
- Commit to a 24-hour on-call schedule, including snow and ice emergencies.
