About The Position
Morgan Properties is hiring an Assistant Service Manager to be the right hand of our maintenance operation at a 606-unit community. You'll coach a team, solve the tough problems, and keep a big community running safely and beautifully, all with the backing of one of the nation's largest multifamily companies.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- 2-4 years of related experience, or a one-year certificate plus experience
- A "whatever it takes" attitude and a passion for developing people

- HVAC/EPA/CFC certification
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and mentor a maintenance team
- Be the go-to expert for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior, and appliance repair
- Build the on-call, preventive maintenance, make-ready, and work order schedules
- Manage maintenance inventory and supplies
- Inspect buildings and vacant units to keep standards high and the community compliant
- Partner with the Service Manager on priorities and projects
- Step up when emergencies hit, like snow, ice, or urgent on-site issues
