Requirements
- Automotive experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to interact with customers with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Knowledge of appropriate telephone techniques
- Excellent listening skills
- Must be well organized
- Computer skills required
- Must be on time and ready to work every day
- Ability to work as a cohesive unit with coworkers
- Valid Illinois license with an acceptable driving record
- Neat professional appearance
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers
- Perform walk around inspections
- Communicate with customers to determine needs
- Verify correct customer information
- Perform handoff of customer to appropriate Service Advisor
- Answer phone calls and set appointments
- Create loaner vehicle contracts for customers
- Perform loaner vehicle check in & out process
- Manage Detail/ Simoniz vehicles. Follow up with customers when completed
- Assist with cashiering duties and customers picking up their vehicles after service is completed
- Fill in for Service Advisors on vacation or personal/sick days
- Assist with writing and monitoring Used Vehicle reconditioning repair orders
- Assist Service Manager as needed
