About The Position

We are currently searching for a full time customer service advisor to work in our fast-paced service department. As a service advisor with AC Nelsen RV, you help customers by assisting solving issues that they're having with their trailer, scheduling service appointments, and making sure that the customers are happy with the service that we provide. This position would also assist our service manager by: Answering service department phone calls, directs calls to correct person or department Schedule and coordinate service appointments Create and maintain accurate customer and service records File warranty claims with manufactures & warranty companies in a timely manner Follow up on warranty claims to ensure prompt processing and payment Communicate with customers regarding service updates and claim status Support service advisors and technicians with administrative tasks Maintain a professional and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Experience working in an auto or RV shop, or a related service field (or be mechanically inclined and willing to learn)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Team-focused attitude
  • Empathetic personality
  • Ability to confer with all levels of customers
  • Experience using Microsoft office products
  • Computer literate and willing to learn our proprietary system
  • Ability to work in various environments including: outdoors, office, and shop area
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a face-to-face customer service role
  • Experience in a receptionist or administrative assistant position
  • Mechanical knowledge, including: -HVAC -Plumbing -Electrical

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Microsoft office products
  • Computer literate and willing to learn our proprietary system
  • Currently own and RV or a camper, or have you in the past
