About The Position

Bridges is seeking an Assistant School Registrar to support the accurate and efficient management of student enrollment, records, and data integrity. This position plays a key part in ensuring families experience a smooth, welcoming process from application through enrollment. An important part of this position responsibilities is to assist with the school's annual enrollment lottery, helping maintain compliance, transparency, and timely communication. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced, family facing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Proficiency with student information systems (PowerSchool experience a plus) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, especially during peak enrollment and lottery periods.

Nice To Haves

  • associate degree or higher preferred
  • Experience in a school office, registrar's office, or administrative/data entry role preferred.
  • Bilingual skills (especially Spanish–English) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing the full enrollment process, including application intake, documentation collection, residency verification, and SIS data entry.
  • Support the coordination and execution of the annual enrollment lottery in accordance with state law and charter policy.
  • Tracking applications, verify eligibility, maintain accurate waitlists, and prepare lottery materials.
  • Communicate with families regarding lottery timelines, results, next steps, and required documentation for accepted students.
  • Provide customer service to families with questions about enrollment, lottery procedures, or required forms.
  • Maintain accurate and organized cumulative files, including immunizations, birth certificates, transcripts, and special program documentation.
  • Assist with processing student withdrawals, records transfers, and requests from schools or agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with FERPA and state recordkeeping requirements.
  • Support data audits and preparation for state and charter reporting.
  • Enter and update student information in the Student Information System (e.g., PowerSchool).
  • Assist with verifying data accuracy for enrollment counts, demographic reporting, and special program indicators.
  • Prepare and send Parent Portal Access letters and assist families with access issues.
  • Prepare internal reports and dashboards as needed.
  • Provide clear, timely communication regarding enrollment requirements, deadlines, and school policies.
  • Support school events related to enrollment, orientation, and scheduling.
  • Assist with general front office duties and additional duties as assigned.
