About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon as an Assistant Salon Manager. This leadership role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. You will work alongside stylists and barbers in a creative, positive, team-oriented environment, with opportunities to develop your leadership skills and advance your career. Training, mentorship, technical coaching, and management and operations instruction through Great Clips University (GCU) are available. Salon technology, including Online Check-In and the Great Clips App, helps streamline busy work so you can focus on serving customers. Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated by third-party franchisees, who are responsible for hiring and personnel matters.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology and/or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service.
• Team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
• Organization and flexibility.
• Interest in developing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.

• Prior management experience is not always required; interest in leadership and supporting others is valued.

Responsibilities
