The Assistant Salon Manager role is often a stepping stone toward Salon Manager or other leadership positions.
Requirements
- Valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- Strong technical haircutting skills
- Great customer service
- Team-first mindset with a desire to encourage and support others
- Clear communication skills
- Positive, motivating attitude
- Organization
- Flexibility
- Interest in growing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility
- Availability needed: 2 nights/week + 3–4 weekend days/month minimum
