Assistant Salon Manager
About The Position
SmartStyle Salon, conveniently located inside Walmart, is a premier salon offering high-quality hair services. Our team of passionate and talented professional hairstylists is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to our clients. This role involves providing exceptional leadership, guest service, understanding guest needs, performing quality consultations, and executing requested services efficiently and professionally. The Assistant Salon Manager will lead and assist the salon manager, work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and perform administrative tasks such as closing out the system at the end of the day. Basic reading, writing, and math skills are required.
Requirements
- Current cosmetology or barber license as required by State regulations.
- Willingness to lead and assist a salon manager.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Tech savvy and ability to perform administrative tasks.
- Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
- Good eyesight to observe a guest’s hair, including close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Comfortable standing, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements.
- Ability to occasionally lift 10-25 lbs.
- Comfortable with fragrances and chemicals used in treatments.
