Assistant Salon Manager
About The Position
Join your locally owned Great Clips® salon team and take the next step in your career. Whether you’re ready to grow into management or want more responsibility while staying behind the chair, we’re excited to meet you. Work closely with your manager to help support salon and team. Share product know-how, and deliver amazing haircuts in our clean and inviting salon. We will teach you how to be successful as an Assistant Manager (with opportunities for advancement) while enjoying our culture, customer base and benefits/pay. Earn $26–$38+ an hour with flexible scheduling, plus PTO, paid training, paid holidays, and medical-vision-dental plans and more. We’re a local salon that invests in our team!
Requirements
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service
- A team-first mindset with a desire to encourage and support others
- Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude
- Organization, flexibility, and the desire to help keep the salon running smoothly
- An interest in growing your leadership skills and taking on more responsibility

- Management experience (interest in leadership and supporting others is just as important as prior experience)
