About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon as an Assistant Salon Manager. This leadership role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. You’ll work alongside stylists and barbers in a supportive, creative, team-oriented environment, with access to education, mentorship, technical coaching, and opportunities for advancement. The role may suit a licensed stylist who is growing into management or seeking more responsibility while continuing to work behind the chair. Prior management experience is not always required; an interest in leadership and supporting others is important.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology and/or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
• Organization and flexibility.
• Interest in developing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.
