Requirements
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service
- A team-first mindset with a desire to encourage and support others
- Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude
- Organization, flexibility, and the desire to help keep the salon running smoothly
- An interest in growing your leadership skills and taking on more responsibility

- Management experience (though an interest in leadership and supporting others is considered equally important)
Responsibilities
- Lead from the floor — set the tone, not just the schedule
- Build a culture that's inclusive, upbeat, and professional
- Keep the day-to-day running smoothly
- Support and motivate a team of stylists while continuing to cut hair
- Combine cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed
