About The Position

Join the locally owned Great Clips salon team at a new salon inside Meijer in Brownsburg. The Assistant Salon Manager role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. You will encourage and motivate stylists while continuing to serve customers behind the chair. The role may suit a stylist who is growing into management or seeking more responsibility. Training in management and operations is provided through Great Clips University (GCU), along with ongoing support and instruction from salon management. Requirements

• Valid cosmetology and/or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service.
• Team-first mindset and desire to encourage and support others.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude.
• Organization and flexibility.
• Interest in growing leadership skills and taking on more responsibility.
