Great Clips salons give Assistant Salon Managers the opportunity to do what you love, along with the tools, training, and support to lead with confidence. This role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. The Assistant Salon Manager role is often a stepping stone toward Salon Manager or other leadership positions.
Requirements
- Licensed stylist
- Valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- Strong technical haircutting skills
- Great customer service
- A team-first mindset with a desire to encourage and support others
- Clear communication skills
- A positive, motivating attitude

- The desire to help keep the salon running smoothly
