Assistant Salon Manager - Licensed Cosmetologist
About The Position
SmartStyle Salon, conveniently located inside Walmart, is a premier salon offering high-quality hair services. Our team of passionate and talented professional hairstylists is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to our clients. This role offers the opportunity to lead, assist, and change people’s lives through exceptional hair services, including haircuts, color, highlights, waxing, and specialty services. The position utilizes proprietary tools and techniques to ensure success. The franchise owner, Requis Inc., is one of the largest and most loved Salon Franchises in the US with over 500 employees Nationwide.
Requirements
- Current cosmetology or barber license as required by State regulations.
- Willingness to lead and assist a salon manager.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Tech savvy.
- Ability to read, write, and do basic math.

- Experience in a leadership role within a salon environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional leadership and guest service.
- Understand guest needs and provide quality consultations.
- Perform services requested in an efficient and professional manner.
- Assist the salon manager.
- Perform administrative tasks, including closing out the system at the end of the day.
