Uses proven sales tools and techniques when pulling routes to achieve Team sales goals. Ensures the effective merchandising of all products in accordance with Corporate Merchandising Policy/Handbook. This role involves using sales tools to take inventory, make product recommendations, and maintain stock levels. It also includes closing sales for displays, new products, draught placements, and managing POS and pricing. The position requires adherence to Anheuser Busch equity agreement and other supplier contract Code Date policies, as well as corporate Sales and Merchandising Standards guidelines. Effective communication with sales personnel is crucial for closing sales, maintaining customer relations, and maximizing sales. Administrative duties include verifying truck inventory, route book entries, and sinking on a timely basis. The role requires spending 70% of the time filling in for Sales Specialist II and 30% running a Sales Representative route. The Assistant Sales Specialist must notify the Area Sales Manager of pertinent changes in the retail trade and perform other duties as assigned.
