About The Position

Momentum Solar is seeking an experienced in-home sales professional for an Assistant Sales Manager role. This is a hands-on leadership position designed for top performers who want greater influence, expanded earning potential, and a clear path into full market leadership. This is not an administrative position. This is a player-coach role with direct impact on production, culture, and market growth. Assistant Sales Managers play a critical role in scaling and stabilizing local markets. The position blends personal production with leadership responsibilities focused on recruiting, coaching, and developing Solar Consultants.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of in-home sales experience with documented success
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building ability
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and metrics-driven
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, performance-based environment

Nice To Haves

  • Proven in-home closers with a consistent performance record
  • Experience mentoring, training, or informally leading peers
  • Strong interest in leadership without stepping away from production
  • High standards for accountability, professionalism, and execution
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends alongside the team
  • Prior leadership, coaching, or training experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain personal production while leading by example
  • Coach reps on in-home sales strategy, presentation flow, and closing
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and early-stage development
  • Help prioritize activity and guide sales efforts to optimize results
  • Partner with senior leadership on performance metrics and growth initiatives
