Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of experience in food & beverage or hospitality supervisory role such as Assistant Restaurant Manager, Shift Supervisor, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including bar service and drink preparation, with the ability to accurately describe menu items and ingredients to guests and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & multitask
  • Ability to work in the Florida outdoor elements and be on your feet for most of your workday.
  • Strong leadership and people skills.
  • Positive, outgoing attitude and love for guest service.
  • Good with restaurant or hotel systems (Toast POS experience a plus).
  • Able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Current (or willing to obtain) SERV Safe Food Manager Certification.
  • Ability to observe regular and consistent attendance; punctuality.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a positive team culture while enforcing company policies and procedures
  • Conduct interviews and help recruit team members to maintain strong staffing levels
  • Train new hires and coach existing staff to uphold restaurant standards and service expectations
  • Provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations to support employee development
  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations and assist back-of-house as needed
  • Oversee key areas of restaurant operations, including food and beverage planning, purchasing, sanitation, safety, bar operations, compliance with company policies, staff scheduling, labor control, team supervision, recordkeeping, and reporting
  • Take ownership of necessary operational tasks; including reporting, financial closeouts, and completion of shift-end responsibilities as needed to support smooth and efficient restaurant operations
  • Organize employee schedules and monitor hours to ensure proper staffing levels
  • Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards to ensure a healthy and compliant environment
  • Promptly address guest concerns to ensure a positive dining experience
  • Order food and supplies while staying within budget guidelines
  • Monitor and control costs, reduce waste, and support overall profitability
  • Interact with guests to gather feedback and enhance service quality
