About The Position
Marriott Hutchinson Island Resort / Concord Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead its food and beverage team in delivering exceptional guest experiences, consistent service, and operational excellence. The role is suited to a hands-on leader who supports team development, manages daily operations, and helps achieve financial and service goals. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will inspire and support team members, foster a positive workplace, and lead with integrity, transparency, respect, and professionalism. The position involves supporting staff and service execution, training and developing associates, assisting with food and beverage financial performance, and helping enhance guest experiences and revenue.
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant management, preferably in hotels or resorts.
- Strong leadership, training, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, cost control, and service standards.
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support staff in delivering exceptional service, food quality, and consistent execution.
- Ensure meals are prepared and delivered promptly with proper plating, portioning, and temperature.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members through onboarding, ongoing training, and daily line-ups.
- Participate in menu evaluation, product selection, and beverage procurement, including liquor and wine.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and meeting food and beverage financial targets.
- Execute marketing initiatives, enhance guest experiences, and drive revenue opportunities.
- Monitor labor and operational performance, providing coaching and feedback to maintain standards.
- Inspire team members, encourage them to reach their full potential, and help create a positive work environment.
- Lead with integrity, transparency, respect, and professionalism, and care for team members and their families.
