About The Position
The Restaurant Assistant Manager leads and supports the restaurant team to provide excellent service and maintain a clean, organized IHOP location. The role includes coordinating kitchen operations, supporting food preparation and service, managing busy periods, keeping the team energized, and reviewing daily performance. The position involves a mix of shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related experience and/or training.
Nice To Haves
- Certification through IHOP training courses.
Responsibilities
- Lead team huddles and set expectations for service.
- Coordinate kitchen operations and help ensure dishes are prepared and served properly.
- Manage busy service periods and respond to operational challenges.
- Support and motivate the team to provide excellent customer service.
- Review daily performance, recognize team contributions, and plan for improvement.
