We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Restaurant General Manager to help lead Miller & Lux. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supporting all aspects of restaurant operations while cultivating an exceptional guest experience, inspiring a high-performing team, and driving operational excellence. This leader will work closely with the Restaurant General Manager, culinary teams, resort leadership, and Club operations to ensure seamless experiences for guests, members, and residents alike. Requirements

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage.
Minimum three years of leadership experience within luxury hospitality, fine dining, resort, club, or lifestyle-driven food and beverage operations.
Strong understanding of front-of-house operations and guest engagement.
Demonstrated success leading teams in highly personalized, service-focused environments.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
Strong business acumen with experience in labor management, budgeting, and cost controls.
Ability to balance elevated luxury standards with the relaxed sophistication of a Hawai‘i resort environment.
Passion for team development, mentoring, and creating a culture of excellence.

Nice To Haves

College degree in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop managers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and accountability.
Create exceptional, personalized dining experiences for guests, Club members, and residents.
Maintain a visible presence on the floor and build meaningful relationships with guests and members.
Anticipate guest needs, manage special requests, and ensure effective service recovery when needed.
Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless, efficient, and high-quality service.
Uphold exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the restaurant.
Collaborate with culinary, beverage, Club, and resort teams to deliver a cohesive and elevated guest experience.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance development initiatives.
Assist in managing labor costs, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and operational expenses to achieve business objectives.
Partner with culinary leadership to ensure menu quality, consistency, and alignment with guest preferences and seasonal offerings.
Monitor the physical condition of the restaurant and help maintain facilities and equipment to Four Seasons standards.
Complete administrative responsibilities including reporting, compliance, communication, and operational follow-up.
Provide hands-on support during peak periods, special events, and business demands while leading by example.
Contribute to a collaborative, positive, and service-focused team environment that reflects the values of Four Seasons Resort Hualālai.
