About The Position

Colonnade BridgePort is seeking an experienced Leasing Professional with excellent leadership skills to oversee the day-to-day leasing activity across their Residential Platform in Ottawa. This role reports to the Senior Residential Leasing Sales Manager and collaborates with Residential Leasing Agents and Tenant Services Coordinators. The primary focus is on supporting the administrative side of leasing, maximizing occupancy and income through diligent leasing data management, reporting, and direct support to leasing staff. Key duties include generating leasing reports, providing detailed leasing statistics to clients and management, assisting with monthly client reporting, overseeing the processing of annual rental rate increases, ensuring leasing team visibility on notices and renewals, and providing first-line support to the Leasing Agents.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of previous experience in sales, property management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) is required.
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Valid Class G driver’s license and access to own vehicle required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in Property Management is an asset.
  • Experience with Yardi and other CRM systems is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French & English) is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage all leasing reports, including daily/weekly/monthly/ad hoc occupancy and leasing statistics for internal use and client reporting.
  • Provide pricing recommendations based on market trends and leasing performance to ensure optimal income.
  • Prepare commission reports for approval by the Senior Leasing Sales Manager.
  • Track lead and tour traffic and provide actionable insights to improve leasing performance if needed.
  • Ensure the leasing team has visibility on notices given, upcoming renewals, and other key operational data.
  • Oversee the processing of annual rental rate increases across the portfolio.
  • Be the first point of contact for leasing staff’s questions/support/resources.
  • Provide coverage for leasing team members on days off or as needed, participating in property tours and leasing events when required.
  • Assist the Senior Leasing Sales Manager in supporting leasing staff and coordinating their efforts to meet occupancy goals.
