The Assistant Residence Manager plays a key role in overseeing operations within an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) or Intermediate Care Facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ICF/IID), supporting the Resident Manager and taking charge of facility operations in their absence. This role involves participating in the orientation, supervision, and evaluation of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), coordinating staff schedules, verifying hours, and managing sick leave. Additionally, the Assistant Residence Manager is responsible for procuring and managing clothing and personal items, overseeing petty cash, and maintaining detailed expenditure records.
