About The Position
The Arc of Westchester is seeking dedicated and experienced Assistant Residence Managers to join their team. In this leadership role, the Assistant Residence Manager will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being of residents. They will provide direct oversight to direct care staff and collaborate with supervisors to manage all aspects of residential programs in a group home setting.
Requirements
- A valid NYS driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a residential setting providing services for individuals with IDD.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise direct care staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Ensure residents' physical, social, emotional, communication, safety, and independent living needs are met.
- Implement and enforce all policies and regulations within the residence.
- Advocate for residents and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
