The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a full-time Assistant Research Scientist position. The Global Psychiatric Epidemiology Group (GPEG), in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, seeks an Assistant Research Scientist to coordinate research projects and participate in data related efforts for various on-going longitudinal research studies. The incumbent, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, Director of the Analytic Unit and/or the Field Director, will help to facilitate activities related to all research conducted by GPEG. Working with the Director of the Analytic Unit, she/he will carry out statistical analysis of epidemiological study data involving survey, clinical, biological and genetics, including preparing tables and drafting reports. Working with the Field Director, she/he will also coordinate activities germane to subject tracking, study subject recruitment, interviewing and other field-related activities, such as the collection of biologicals, other in-person research procedures including arrange for subject transportation, etc. The incumbent will work during the daytime and evening on any of the seven days per week, as needed.
