Assistant Research Professor - Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics, College of Engineering
About The Position
Penn State's College of Engineering is seeking candidates for an Assistant Research Professor within the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics. The Assistant Research Professor will conduct research on two-dimensional materials and next-generation semiconductor devices, with emphasis on scalable 2D FETs and CMOS, interface/contact and high-k gate-stack engineering, and monolithic 3D integration. This is a term position; length of the term will be discussed during the interview process. Continuation past the term length discussed will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Engineering Science, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrated research experience in 2D semiconductor devices and nanoscale fabrication
