The Assistant Registrar serves as a key operational partner within the Dyson Registrar's Office, overseeing course, room, and exam scheduling while supporting a broad range of academic administration functions, including student enrollment, records management, transfer credit processing, and leave and withdrawal administration. Working closely with the Dyson Registrar, this position ensures the effective coordination of systems, processes, and policies across registration, grading, scheduling, and academic records, while contributing to ongoing technology implementations and process improvements. The role exercises significant independent judgment in managing complex scheduling and records-related decisions that directly impact students, faculty, and academic operations. As a trusted member of the registrar team, the Assistant Registrar also supports commencement activities, school-wide communications, and daily office operations, and serves as a representative for the Registrar in their absence. This is a full-time, two-year term position with the possibility of renewal based on funding, performance, and business needs. As a member of the Cornell community, the successful candidate will foster a culture of belonging by demonstrating collaboration, respect, inclusion, and a commitment to supporting the success and wellbeing of others.
