About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is growing and actively interviewing for an Experienced Assistant Regional Property Manager to lead their team in the East Lansing, Michigan area. This portfolio consists of 7 conventional market rate communities and has an excellent Regional mentor in place. All properties are within a 30-mile radius. Monarch is the 10th largest multifamily property owner in the country, privately owned since 1992, and currently owns/self-manages over 81,695 apartments across 26 states. They have a long-range hold strategy and commit to the people they employ.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Multifamily Housing management
• Experience managing multiple communities.
• Proven track record of successfully leading a team of 15+.
• Must be able to thoroughly understand the financial aspects of running a portfolio.
• Able to pass a soft credit review

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an “A” team to manage the assigned communities.
• Property Manages the full-cycle operational and financial responsibilities of a “Region”.
• Makes strategic changes to increase income, decrease expenses and grow net operating income.
