Requirements

  • 1-2 years of service sales and / or sales management experience
  • Strong technical skills, along with an understanding of the Internet, firewalls, routers, modems, switches, and hubs.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a minimum 1-2 years of consistently meeting quota.
  • Must be able to work from a local home office equipped with high-speed Internet.
  • Must be able to travel extensively (up to 50%) within assigned region. Travel will also be to corporate and events nationally.

  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical operational levels. Works to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles and/or planning for contingencies.

  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 50%); will include some overnight travel.
  • Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)
  • Primary functions require the ability to communicate over the phone and in person effectively and clearly with individuals suffering from hearing loss.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of experience managing and developing a team preferred (not required).
  • Prior installation experience is desirable.
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales and service acquisition and retention quota objectives daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.
  • Maintain territory sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and mentoring employees for success.
  • Manage and ensure PT TTSM’s are following all policies and procedures for time punches and monitoring hours to ensure they average between 25-30 hours worked per week.
  • Manage territory representative’s performance by coaching, taking action to improve performance; planning, monitoring, and evaluating results.
  • Travel to PT TTSMs when needed for follow-up training
  • Actively work with direct training/sales team to coach and train on accepting, qualifying, scheduling/moving new customer installations to maximize their time.
  • Actively work with direct training/sales team to coach and train on growing users in their territory though customer referrals.
  • Work with PTTTSM’s to ensure customers are validated and all compliance policies are followed.
  • Manage the inventory of ClearCaptions products and ancillary equipment for the Territory.
  • Coach PT TTSM’s on how to evaluate the customer’s communications needs and propose the appropriate ClearCaptions solution to satisfy those needs.
  • Create and monitor the territories assigned to each PT TTSM
  • Manage, administer, and report on Territory results and issues.
  • Take an active talent management approach to onboard, mentor and inspire a diverse, highly engaged, and skilled team.
  • Continually upgrade talent through timely talent management, development, succession planning and recruitment.
  • Be an expert for the PT TTSMs on how to: Territory management to schedule and follow-up customer installations.
  • Conducting onsite and in-depth customer training on caption telephone services.
  • Increasing new customer acquisitions in a region through customer referrals.
  • Retention of existing customers.
  • Use Salesforce and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  • Work with Customer Support.
