About The Position

The Assistant Director of Recreation will be responsible for interacting in a kind, compassionate manner with residents, families & co-workers, planning and executing appropriate activities, maintaining a liaison with other department supervisors to adequately plan for resident activities, and assisting with employee work schedules for the Recreation Department. The role also requires the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to assist the Recreation Director as needed. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, at least 1 of which in a supervisory capacity
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
