APD: Motions & Appeals Specialist

Kalamazoo Defender•Kalamazoo, MI

About The Position

Kalamazoo Defender, an independent nonprofit providing legal representation to adults charged with crimes in Kalamazoo County, is seeking a full-time attorney to serve as a Motions and Appeals Specialist. Kalamazoo Defender describes its mission as fighting for justice in the courts, care in the community, and dignity in the world. Its holistic approach connects clients with support services in collaboration with area providers, while addressing systemic barriers related to poverty and discrimination.
