About The Position

Dominion Management (DM) oversees a portfolio of more than 850 homes across the Greater Baltimore Area. The majority of our residents participate in housing voucher programs, and we are committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and affordable housing to the Baltimore community. We are seeking a vibrant, entrepreneurial individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. Requirements

  • Previous property management experience, specifically with Housing Choice Voucher Programs (Section 8).
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing compliance.
  • Intermediate-advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Skilled in time management and prioritization.
  • Ability to track both short- and long-term projects through completion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for operational issues.
  • Superior communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process applications and conduct background screenings.
  • Investigate and help resolve complaints, disturbances, and violations.
  • Contribute to achieving team goals, leasing benchmarks, and resident retention targets.
  • Coordinate and Prepare for New Move In’s and Lease Renewals
  • Coordinate and Attend all Leasing events including Open Houses
  • Keep the Property Manager informed of information affecting property operations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the Fair Housing Act.
  • Prepare, monitor, and distribute operational reporting.
  • Provide direction to the team in the Property Manager’s absence.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with senior management.
  • Participate in and attend all required training sessions.
