About The Position

Providence Group Management is looking for an experienced and organised Assistant Property Manager (APM) to join its Charlotte office. The successful candidate will support two Property Managers and play an important role in the day-to-day management and administration of their property portfolios. This is a varied position that requires someone who is organised, proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will have previous property management experience and be confident working independently while providing reliable support to the Property Managers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in property management or a closely related role
  • Strong knowledge of day-to-day property management processes
  • Experience working directly with tenants
  • Experience coordinating with service vendors and contractors
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • A proactive approach to problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to two Property Managers
  • Assist with the management and administration of property portfolios
  • Support tenant communication and relationship management
  • Assist with lease enforcement and accounts receivable matters
  • Respond to and coordinate tenant maintenance requests
  • Coordinate with service vendors and contractors
  • Manage maintenance requests and follow up with vendors to ensure work is completed
  • Maintain accurate property records, documentation and information
  • Assist with invoices, accounts payable and other property-related financial administration
  • Follow up on outstanding tasks and ensure deadlines are met
  • Communicate with tenants, vendors and other relevant parties in a professional manner
  • Manage multiple properties, tasks and priorities effectively
  • Provide general administrative support to the Property Managers
  • Carry out other duties associated with the Assistant Property Manager role as required
