About The Position

The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for renting storage space to customers, informing them of rental regulations and rates, and assisting them in selecting the appropriate storage unit size. This role involves assisting customers in completing rental agreements and providing exceptional customer service. The Assistant Property Manager may be required to travel to other facilities to provide support during staff shortages, high-demand periods, or special projects. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to the overall success of the company. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Rents storage space to customers.
  • Informs customers of space availability, rental regulations, and rates.
  • Assists customers in selection of storage unit size according to articles or material to be stored.
  • Assists customer in completing rental agreement.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to our customers and generate sales leads over the phone as well as walk-in customers.
  • Recommends unit sizes and services based on customers' needs.
  • Communicates leasing process to customers.
  • Makes customer calls regarding their account, collections, and other items, documenting notes on the computer system.
  • Conducts daily physical storage unit inspection, confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are secure and/or ready to rent.
  • Manages, audits, and balances cash drawer, preparing and making daily deposits.
  • Performs cleaning and maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, and picking up trash and wiping windows to ensure a great customer experience.
  • Travels to other properties to provide support as needed for efficient business operations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
