Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Accurate typing and record keeping
  • Computer skills and math ability
  • Ability to follow through with all necessary paperwork and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Entrata is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collecting rent and keeping delinquency at a minimum
  • Maintaining all resident financial records
  • Processing all invoices
  • Maintaining accurate resident information in Entrata; includes new resident information from applications, move-ins, move-outs, building transfers, notices to vacate, etc.
  • Updating on a daily basis all rents, deposits and application fees received from residents; issuing appropriate notices when necessary (i.e. late payments, eviction notices, returned checks and memos)
  • Assisting in the collection of rents and preparation of receipts
  • Depositing all receipts prior to bank closing each day
  • Updating daily reports concerning notices to vacate, vacancy reports, activity reports, etc.
  • Organizing and filing all applicable reports, leases and paperwork
  • Accepting service requests from residents and routing to maintenance for prompt processing; conducting service follow up with residents
  • Compiling and delivering late notices and legal notices
  • Printing monthly delinquency reports and keeping General Manager informed
  • Working with legal counsel and General Manager regarding legal proceedings
  • Answering telephones as needed
  • Setting up new residents and depositing all moneys
  • Inputting vendor information and invoices into computer system and sending to Corporate for payment
  • Following up on all security deposit upgrades and processing all refunds
  • Keeping all logs up to date
  • General administrative duties such as filing and typing
  • Assisting in preparing monthly reports
  • Ordering supplies within established budgeted guidelines
  • Maintaining general office and vendor files
