About The Position

Richman Property Services is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude. This role will be based at our brand new 155-unit residential property, Wall Street Place, and will also provide support to River Commons (34 units) in Norwalk, CT. The position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, totaling 40 hours per week. We prioritize exceptional customer service and create secure, welcoming environments for our residents.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in apartment leasing and/or property management preferred
  • Experience with LIHTC communities and Yardi software is preferred.
  • Excellent command of the English language - both written and oral
  • Customer service and detail-oriented
  • Good time-management skills and ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Residential Property Management experience preferred
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize
  • Exceptional resident relations skills
  • Strong administrative background with affordable housing, FLEX/AHP in residential communities
  • Tax credit/Affordable (LIHTC) experience Preferred
  • Experience using Yardi property management systems, prior Leasing or Admin experience preferred
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager in achieving community goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Handle resident inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Manage work orders and maintenance requests using Yardi software
  • Coordinate lease renewals and rental increases
  • Conduct unit inspections and move-in/out processes
  • Support leasing activities and resident relations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
