About The Position

This position supports three multi-family apartment communities totaling 210 units. The location schedule is subject to change for business needs. The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for advertising and promoting the property, utilizing industry-specific software for lead management, providing tours to prospective and current residents, and completing the full cycle lease process. They will also ensure compliance with renter's insurance, maintain resident occupancy of 95%, and ensure the timely collection of rent and other ancillary revenue. Additionally, the role involves assisting the Property Manager with the delinquency process and processing vendor invoices. The Assistant Property Manager will engage with prospective and current tenants professionally, respond to and resolve unforeseen issues or emergencies, reduce tenant turnover by identifying and mediating tenant relation issues, and complete quality assurance calls. They will also facilitate resident events and attend training and development seminars.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in multi-family property management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrates teamwork, good hygiene, ethical behavior and integrity, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task, resolve conflicts, engage in cost/benefit analytical decision-making, and ambition for continuous professional development

Responsibilities

  • Reduce tenant turnover by identifying tenant relation issues, mediating between parties, and recommending solutions
  • Complete quality assurance calls following up on completed work orders
  • Facilitate resident events
