The Assistant Property Manager will support the community manager with day-to-day property operations, including leasing, renewals, resident retention, and occupancy goals. This role involves managing delinquency, collections, payment plans, and resident account follow-up, as well as reviewing resident ledgers for accuracy. The Assistant Property Manager will also assist with monthly reporting, financial tracking, and variance review, alongside invoice processing, purchase orders, and expense management. A key part of the role is responding to resident concerns and resolving issues professionally and promptly. Responsibilities extend to lease administration, move-ins, move-outs, transfers, and renewals, as well as monitoring leasing traffic, availability, pricing, and exposure. The position supports the onsite team to maintain accountability and strong customer service standards, assists with property inspections, curb appeal, and community standards, and maintains accurate resident files and system records. Ensuring compliance with Fair Housing requirements and company policies is crucial. The Assistant Property Manager will step in to support the community manager and onsite team as operational needs arise.
