About The Position

Silver Tree Residential, LLC is a rapidly growing property management company established in 2008, focused on operating multi-family and senior apartment communities. Their mission is to provide high-quality housing with safe, quiet, and amenity-rich environments. They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Property Manager to join their team in the Bay Area. The role is specifically for Redwood Seniors of Willow Glen, a 140-unit Senior apartment complex located in the prestigious Willow Glen district of San Jose, California.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing apartment communities
• Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, and/or LIHTC
• Accomplished interpersonal skills; capable of dealing effectively with employees, residents, vendors and co-workers; along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Utilize and maintain all data in OneSite property management system.
• Efficiently process and file forms and documents as necessary, maintaining confidentiality of personnel and residents.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, amenities, rates, sizes, and locations of property and all community policies.
• Present property and provide amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants.
• Advertise available units using a variety of media and promoting materials.
• Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies regarding rentals.
• Conduct all initial certifications, annual re-certifications, and interim certifications.
• Audit all move-in files and assist with move-in certifications and qualifications as required by HUD.
• EIV reporting and investigations.
• MOR Audit preparations.
• Prepare and execute all required notices, interviews, verifications of household information, and completion of the Tenant Income Certifications.
