About The Position

An Assistant Project Manager acts as the operational right hand to a lead Project Manager, helping track schedules, manage documentation, and coordinate cross-functional teams. Typical requirements include a bachelor's degree, 2 to 4 years of experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in project coordination, administration, or a similar junior role
  • Ability to track and maintain RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, change orders, and progress logs
  • Familiarity with industry-standard project management software like Procore, MS Project, Jira, Asana, or Smartsheet
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to juggle parallel workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactively identifying project risks and roadblocks
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Navigating uneven surfaces and walking around large or active project sites
  • Ascending and descending stairs and ladders, and working at elevated heights
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Reaching with arms and hands, and using fingers to operate tools
  • Frequently lifting, transporting, and positioning materials or equipment weighing (25) to (50) lbs, with occasional need to lift up to (50) to (100) lbs
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
  • Ability to hear and verbally communicate at normal audio levels
