About The Position

First Finish, a premier full-service hotel renovation contractor and part of the Shawmut family, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager. This role supports Project Managers in building and delivering exceptional services tailored to client goals. The company provides specialized training and development tools to help employees excel in running projects, collaborating with clients, and professional development. The Assistant Project Manager will assist with project setup, execution, closeout, financial management, and relationship management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in construction management with a commercial general contractor
  • Experience managing small projects or as part of a project team on larger, more complex projects.
  • Must have the flexibility for required business travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management and/or related industry experience a plus
  • Experience with Procore, CMiC, MS Office Suites or other project management software a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers in building and delivering exceptional services catered to our clients’ specific goals and concerns.
  • Ensure that proper tools and processes are in place prior to the beginning of a project.
  • Manage the construction administration process from pre-construction through close-out.
  • Collaborate and work with clients, owners, subs and First Finish staff.
  • Assist the Project Manager with project set up, project execution, project closeout, financial management and relationship management.
