About The Position

OneEnergy is a dynamic and innovative renewable energy industry company dedicated to developing and deploying utility scale solar and community solar facilities. The Assistant Project Manager will be supporting the execution of projects, starting with the engineering and procurement phase, and leading up to commercial operation. Qualifying candidates will have a demonstrated track record of success in working cohesively across several project support functions including development, engineering, construction, and finance to meet scheduled project completion dates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting operations, engineering or construction.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of integrity and organizational capacity to manage multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated and self -starter, with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Must possess strong quantitative analysis and critical thinking skills.

  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Office/365 is a ‘must’.
  • Must have a “roll up your sleeves and let’s get the job done right” type attitude.
  • Demonstrated qualities of integrity, credibility, and professional responsibility.
  • Ability to travel and access sites of varying terrain. Position requires frequent travel, up to 1-2 weeks per month or about 20% of working time; must carry an active driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Solar engineering or construction experience preferred, but not required.
  • project management, and CRM software such as Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and supporting multiple project schedules, budgets, and financial requirements with competing deadlines and resources across companywide functional teams.
  • Working with engineers and project managers to document product or contractor specifications and work scopes during planning stages.
  • Assisting Project Manager(s) with submittal compilation, purchase orders, on-site job walk-throughs, change orders request for information, pay application support and close-out documents.
  • Preparing project controls, budget setup, schedules of values/billing mechanisms, and maintain each in at the direction of the Project Manager(s).
  • Providing steady and reliable communication while also managing complicated schedules, budgets, contractors, people, risks, and other resources.
  • Assisting in ensuring all safety, quality, and environmental policies of the Company and project owners are followed by all project personnel.
