Assistant Project Manager - Residential Construction
About The Position
Tom Williams Residential, Inc. is seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Assistant Project Manager to support multiple Project Managers across residential construction projects in the North Atlanta area. This hands-on field operations position involves taking on the responsibilities needed to keep projects organized, productive, and moving forward. Duties may include coordinating subcontractors, documenting jobsite progress, picking up materials, protecting finished surfaces, cleaning and organizing jobsites, and performing physical construction work. The role offers hands-on experience, mentoring, and progressively greater responsibility, with the objective of developing the individual into a capable Project Manager over the next several years.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of construction experience.
- Hands-on experience in residential construction trades.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of residential construction methods and building codes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in all areas of residential construction.
- Assist with project quality, progress, and safety.
- Run errands and pick up materials.
- Coordinate subcontractors.
- Document jobsite progress.
- Protect finished surfaces and clean and organize jobsites.
- Perform physical construction work as needed.
