About The Position

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is hiring a Construction Observation and Testing Assistant Project Manager in Newark, Delaware. The role oversees Construction Field Technicians conducting observations and special-inspection testing during site work and building construction, and prepares final reports. Working with Project Managers, the Assistant Project Manager coordinates personnel and equipment and collaborates with technical experts to support project execution. The position also engages with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address issues and ensure project requirements are met.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of Construction Observation and Testing (COT) experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively coordinate projects.
• Good driving record, valid driver's license, and own vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• NICET, ICC, ACI, or other certifications.

Responsibilities
