As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll help lead custodial operations for a federal customer while supporting employees, maintaining exceptional service, and advancing Didlake's mission of providing meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Requirements

  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Two 2 years of supervisory experience in custodial, environmental services, facilities management, or commercial operations.
  • Federal contract experience is preferred.
  • Experience leading diverse teams is highly valued.
  • Leadership and employee coaching.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Operational planning and organization.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards.
  • Environmental compliance awareness.
  • Inventory and supply management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Have a valid driver's license and be insurable under Didlake's automobile policy. Requirements include but are not limited to a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving and being at least 25 years old.
  • Must have a valid Real ID for access to the work site.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of a federal custodial services contract.
  • Lead operations in the Project Manager's absence.
  • Supervise and coach supervisors, team leaders, and frontline employees.
  • Ensure contract compliance, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor safety, environmental compliance, and operational performance.
  • Manage supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal partners.
  • Help create an inclusive workplace where employees can thrive.
