The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is seeking an Assistant Program Manager/Educator to work at one of its Island Environmental Education Centers. This is a full-time, year-round position that requires staff to live on-site from March to December. CBF is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to saving the Chesapeake Bay through education, advocacy, litigation, and restoration. The Environmental Education department provides field experiences, teacher professional learning, and student leadership, utilizing the Bay and its watershed as the classroom. Educators use hands-on experiential teaching techniques to educate students about the Bay's health and inspire them to take action for its restoration. The department includes Student Field Programs, Teacher and Principal Professional Learning, and Student Leadership, all working together to empower participants to 'Save the Bay.'
