About The Position

Aspire Living & Learning is looking for an Assistant Program Manager who supports the Program Manager in the daily operation and oversight of a residential program funded by the Department of Social Services (DSS) and providing support to adults with disabilities. This role serves as an important bridge between direct care staff and program leadership by ensuring high-quality, person-centered services, regulatory compliance, and effective team coordination. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Assistant Program Manager is responsible for providing hands-on leadership, staff guidance, and administrative support while helping to ensure that individuals supported receive care that promotes dignity, independence, and community inclusion in accordance with all state, federal, and agency requirements.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have at least one year of experience in a supervisory role
  • Must have at least one year of experience working with adults with disabilities
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
