About The Position
The Division of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Texas Woman's University (TWU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Chemistry. We seek candidates with expertise in Biochemistry, Chemical biology, or a closely related field who are committed to excellence in teaching, research, mentorship, and service. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate chemistry and science courses, establish a nationally recognized research program, mentor and guide undergraduate and Master's students in innovative research projects within our new state-of-the-art research facility, collaborate effectively within the division, college, and university, and contribute to the division, college, and university through service.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline
- Commitment to excellence in teaching, research, mentorship, and service
Nice To Haves
- Postdoctoral research experience is preferred
- Teaching expertise and research interests in biochemistry, biological chemistry, or related areas
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate chemistry and science courses
