About The Position

The Ingram School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Nurse-Led Health Systems Change. The scholarly focus areas may include health services research, leadership, and health-care administration with an emphasis on big data or artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will advance a research program that strengthens timely patient access to the full scope of advanced practice nursing and drives measurable improvements in health and system-level outcomes. This position is available at the rank of Assistant Professor, reflecting the School’s commitment to recruiting exceptional scholars whose work will shape the future of nursing practice, policy, and innovation. The successful candidate will be joining the School at a stimulating time of growth and new energy with a recent focus amongst research-focused faculty on the development of a research throughline, major curricular revisions, and a new physical space featuring state-of-the-art teaching, simulation and research facilities. Requirements

  • Educated as nurses or have a research focus relevant to nursing.
  • A doctorate in a health-related discipline.
  • A track record of peer-reviewed publications.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to and in accordance with circumstances, a track record in equity, diversity, and inclusiveness (EDI).
  • Fluent in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-doctoral training.
  • Evidence of success in receiving competitive, external research funding.
  • A working knowledge of French, or a commitment to acquiring it within a few years of appointment.
