The University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center are seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor with research interests and expertise in cancer survivorship and population sciences. This role involves joining a collaborative initiative between the cancer center and the nursing school. The ideal candidate will be a team scientist with expertise in areas such as cancer and aging, dissemination and implementation science, or AI/ML/big data analytics. These areas would complement existing research programs in symptom management, patient-reported outcomes, technology-supported interventions, biobehavioral mechanisms, electronic health records, value-based care models, health disparities, cardiometabolic health, epidemiological studies, and lifestyle medicine. The position offers a strong platform for research and education within an NCI-designated cancer center and a highly-ranked nursing school. The candidate will be part of the Cancer Control Research Program and have opportunities for collaboration across other research programs within Sylvester. The primary appointment will be in the School of Nursing and Health Studies, with potential for secondary appointments in other university departments. The School of Nursing and Health Studies provides extensive facilities, including high-tech classrooms, research labs, and a simulation hospital.
