About The Position

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has a unique combination of education, research, and clinical programs that encourages and supports teamwork and diversity. This position will provide subspecialized expertise for a wide breadth of neuropathology with studies provided by the varied subspecialists in neurosurgery, neurology, otolaryngology, and neuroopthalmology.

Requirements

  • M.D. or equivalent degree required
  • Pediatric IR fellowship or adult IR training with comparable pediatric experience.
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the Arkansas Board of Radiology (ABR), or eligible for an alternate pathway.
  • Must have an Arkansas medical license or be eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced neuroimaging for the comprehensive evaluation of brain tumors (MR perfusion/tractography and fMRI).
  • Provide a comprehensive total body evaluation of myeloma patients with CT, MRI, total body PET, and total body DWIBS.
